Aeons

lyrics

th' age now reached we reflect on
two lives I've lived by surprise
each life is its own— a rotation
distinctions are marked in our minds

we will walk on the border
and pick the path toward the sky

oooh
we'd have known better
learning the end at the start

memories split in two for
Aeons

who was that other person
who walked around in my shoes?
familiar thoughts and surroundings
foreign, though mine all along

oooh
we'd have known better
learning the end at the start

memories split in two for
Aeons

you're born then you live for Aeons
layered existence for Aeons
you're born then you die for Aeons
consciousness travels for Aeons
